I am trying to decide whether to use knitr to write my dissertation. I mostly use LaTeX but I'd like to generate all my plots in the same document. So far I've used it for smaller projects and it has worked great. The only problem has been the spelling checker. Is there a way of getting spelling errors highlighted in red (for instance) in the Rnw file without having to check spelling every time I want to look for mistakes? Thanks!
Hey, it's been a while since you posted your question so I guess you've already figured it out. Anyways I wanted to comment that If you use the RStudio IDE, you can press the F7 key or click the menu Edit -> Check Spelling to spell-check an Rmd document.
Cheers.
