Welcome back!! Reading your blog from time to time was THE leisure minutes of my working days XD. I'm not a programming guy at all, just a clinical scientist who tried to automate some of the data‑wrangling dirty work, taught myself R from scratch, and got to know you last year while learning R Markdown. Huge thanks for your work and sharing, which really helped me work fast and much (好又多). I also really like how much you value a sense of humor LOL. You are back! Best wishes to you and your family! My two and a half years old kid gave me the daycare virus a few days ago, I feel you. Your posts always calm me down in this AI world, I have planted some vegetables to make sure I am not quietly starving to death. And I might start to learn plumbing to stay employed as well. In terms of AI, yes, it's becoming crazy. I've done a couple of projects that I'd never believe I could do before with Github Copilot and Claude. While that made me feel very excited, it also brought up an inevitable question: if AI knows much more than me, what'd be my value in the digital world? For now, I'm still using "Copilot", how long will it take for AI to be the pilot and I become the copilot? Then when will I, as the copilot, become redundant?
