Thanks for your comment! I absolutely agree with you on the importance of other open-source contributors. As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words. If you take a look at our annual report, you'll find a section "Donations to Open-Source Software":

In addition to the open-source software that we make freely available, and our support for Ursa Labs, RStudio recognizes the importance of contributing financially to other important open-source initiatives. To date, RStudio has given over $700,000 to projects led by others. Current commitments include contributing to the R Consortium, NumFocus, and to authors and maintainers of twelve smaller open-source projects, whose software we use.

Apologies for the careless omission in the talk, but rest assured that we value those contributors very seriously. As a speaker who has given hundreds of talks myself, I almost always find things I have missed in my talks.

Again, I very much appreciate your honest feedback!

因为 .me 域名太小众了，这也是为什么我不喜欢之前我用了十几年的 .name 域名。我通常优先选择 .com 和 .org 域名，但 .com 难注册，而 .org 会容易一点，这个 yihui.org 我也是等了好几年才等到的：https://yihui.org/cn/2017/03/domain-name/#comment-4408890219

在这两个域名中，我可能会倾向于选择后者，因为前者虽然是 .cn 域名后缀、有常见的优势，但 zsdycs 这种不常见的拼音缩写掩盖了 .cn 的优势。

但如果我是你，我仍然会选择 .org 域名，比如 lipk.org（仍然可用）。当然，我可能是很罕见的在网上处处实名、不愿用网名的人。网名寿命相对比较短，年少时选择的网名等你长大了往往就不再适合使用了（比如你是否想过：两人执手、然后再对影，莫不是成二二得四……）。除非你对自己的真名很不满意，否则真名是最长久的品牌，你得把所有的影响力都聚焦到这个品牌上：https://yihui.org/cn/2019/03/influence-focus/ 恕我直言：除了你和你的女票（如果有的话），没有人会在意“执手对影成双”是什么故事的。不过你可能也不在意你的网站是否能做出影响力，那也无妨，也是一种选择。
